About me

Hi internet, I’m Niels, I’m a bass player and a bit of a nerd, and I live in the beautiful Green Mountain state, Vermont!

Music

I’ve been playing music since I was a toddler, when my parents brought me to the Westchester Conservatory and started me with the venerable recorder. I started playing the double bass with the Vermont Youth Orchestra at 12, and picked up bass guitar at 21. These days I’m primarily a jazz cat, but enjoy playing and listening to nearly every genre of music!

Technical

I’ve been tinkering with things since my father came home with an Atari 800, and have been working on all sorts of projects since I was allowed to use the tools in his basement shop. Woodworking, computers, electronics, motorcycles, I enjoy building and fixing things!
